The Bay Hub is a 27-storey Grade-A office tower consisting of 24 office floors, a three-storey retail podium, three storeys of basement car parks and a roof garden. RLP collaborated with KPF on this building.
The tower is a landmark located in the heart of the new Kowloon East CBD2 business district. Visually, the building is a rational yet sculptural composition of interlocked cubic forms. Expressive cantilevered cubes were inserted at the top of the tower, creating a unique and recognisable building identity. Integrated LEDs embedded into the façade display artful graphics visible from every angle at night, while users enjoy spectacular harbour and mountain views around the clock.
A central core and column-free floor design offers maximum flexibility and spacious interiors of around 35,000 sq. ft. per floor, catering to the varying needs of companies looking to develop and expand their businesses. The main office lobby also provides commanding headroom of 9.3 m.
The design incorporates the latest sustainability features, and has been awarded a LEED Platinum rating by the U.S. Green Building Council and a BEAM Plus Platinum rating. These features include operable windows that allow individualised climate control and articulated, textured curtain walls that increase interior lighting on the north façade and shade on the south façade. The outdoor roof terrace also has both a green wall and solar PV panels.
